New PhRMA Code
On July 10, 2008 PhRMA announced its updated marketing code which will go into effect in January 2009. These voluntary guidelines “Prohibits distribution of non-educational items (such as pens, mugs and other “reminder” objects typically adorned with a company or product logo) to healthcare providers and their staff.”
We at Red Cedar have been promoting education of HCPs in the exhibit booth and do not see this affecting our clients in the least bit as far as their exhibit strategy is concerned. Now the thousands of dollars exhibitors spend on pens and sticky notes, shipping, quick access storage and drayage can be put to much better use.
Please contact us for more information on giving HCPs what they really want in your booth.
